ASCII's New Features

At anytime you can always use the ASCII export through the "Select Issues" Sidebar menu from the "Lists" Tab. Click on the picture below and maximize it, to see how you can do this.

As another new feature, you can also Export group to ASCII at anytime from any issues by going to "Select Issues" Sidebar menu and choose any type of data such as Indexes and choose a symbol that has plus(+) sign in front of them. This tells you that it has a list of components underneath it. As pictured below, click and maximize to view the process.

Step 1. Right click on any symbol with a plus(+) sign in front of them.

Step 2. Click on Export group to ASCII

Step 3. You will have an "Export to ASCII" window pop-up, this is where you select the directory where you want the group to be exported to. This is also where you will choose the data format you want.

Step 4. Find the directory or make a new one to save it to. Then you click OK on both windows.

Step 5. You will see all the data that was exported via ASCII export on the directory file as exampled on the pictured above.
